$2,500 Grants from Los Angeles County

Los Angeles County's Department of Economic Opportunity has teamed up with Lendistry to offer the Economic Opportunity Grant, giving $2,500 grants to business owners operating within the county. This funding does not have to be repaid and can be used towards growing your business.
The county will award more than $54 million dollars to business owners within its jurisdiction from the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) There is no deadline to apply as grants will be awarded until funds are exhausted. Funds are expected to be exhausted in May 2023.
To qualify for Phase 1 of this grant program you need to have been in operation in 2019 and are still in operation in 2023 and your business must earn less than $50,000.00 in annual gross revenue. You will complete an application online at:
It took me 15 minutes to complete the application and they required me to upload 2019 tax information and business certification documents. The application was pretty user friendly.
Applications for Phase 2 will begin February 23, 2023 and will include businesses in LA County which make over $50,000.00 in annual gross revenue. Phase 2 grants start at $15,000 per business.
