Business Plans are like Fingerprints

Updated: Aug 2, 2021

Business plans are like fingerprints, no two plans are the same. Many factors play a role in business planning which makes it nearly impossible for two companies to have the same plan, even if it is the same franchise in the same city. All business plans are unique to the business owner.

Have you ever used Groupon? Andrew Mason one of the original founders of Groupon wrote his business plan on a napkin and built an empire. The plan had 3 very distinct steps.

1) Think about the business

2) Get Investors

3) Grow Exponentially

Quality over quantity is the focus when strategically planning for your business.

A plan that fulfills its intended purpose carries more weight than the number of words in the plan. The length of the plan is of no concern. There are one-page business plans which are just as effective, if not more, than 30-page business plans. We should only be concerned with how well we answer, and document, the questions required for proper planning. Data, research, and honest answers will take your plan from words on paper to a living breathing document that fuels action.

No two business plans are alike and finding one that breathes life into your company will be critical to your company's long term success. Create a Plan you Believe in and are willing to Execute.

Do you have a business plan?

When was the last time you revised it?

Always Remember,

Believe.Plan.Execute
