All living breathing beings have a deeply engrained yearning to avoid pain and seek pleasure. The Creator was amazing in using pain and pleasure to guide us. If sex weren’t pleasurable, we would not reproduce as much. If getting cut were not painful, we would bleed to death. We clearly need both, pain and pleasure, or The Creator would not have made it so.

Our motivation to execute and handle our business is stemmed from what gives us pain and pleasure. We need to know what we are attracted to (what brings us pleasure) and what we are running from (what brings us pain) Taking the time to understand what you truly deeply believe is critical to execution. Pain and pleasure are natural motivators and part of the Creator's plan for our survival
In studying the terrain of my mind, I was amazed and sometimes scarred, at the things I saw and felt. Some thoughts were so painful, I cried as I wished them away. Other thoughts made me feel so good, I prayed they would never leave.
Our Higher Calling is to free our minds from this tug of war of pain and pleasure, free from attracting and repelling, and free from liking and disliking.
The Buddhists call this mental space, Nirvana, free from desire, wanting, and yearning. A place where there is no pain or pleasure, just peace.

What brings you pain?
What brings you pleasure?
Always Remember,
Believe. Plan. Execute
