Prayer is talking to the Creator. Meditation is listening to the Creator. Different kinds of prayer include lamenting, praise, worship, petition, singing and dancing. We can pray with our words, tears, bodies, emotions or tongues, just know prayer is outward expression.

I did not grow up in a religious home, so in the beginning of my journey with The Creator, I did not know if I was praying the right way. That concern grew less over time and I learned how to open my mouth and speak to the one who Created me. I began to understand the different postures of prayer: kneeling, hands together, hands to the sky, face on the ground, and in the posture of prayer I began to speak my heart.
We are given a glimspe into the true power of prayer in the passage below.
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened: For every one that ask, receive; and he that seeks, finds.” Matthew 7:7-8
What are you asking for? Are you ready to receive it?
Our Creator wants to give us what we ask for, but don't ask if you are not ready to receive because, if any of us ask, it shall be given.
The Great Ones take time to be alone with their thoughts, to meditate, pray and
commune with The Creator. They wake up praying and go to sleep praying. I heard Oprah say, “I don’t go to bed or get out the bed without spending time in silence.”
Spending quiet time with the Creator has mental, emotional and physical healing powers. It is proven that silence can help lower blood pressure, boost immunity and promote an overall sense of well-being. "Silence is a source of great strength" Lao Tzu
Praying and meditating is not formal, it is deeply personal, you can meditate anytime, anywhere and without anybody knowing just like you can pray anytime, anywhere and without anybody knowing. Every moment of every day we are gifted with an opportunity to speak and listen to The Creator, to gain instruction and let our praise and petitions be heard. Let's appreciate our Gift.

What business goals are you praying for?
Are you ready to receive them?
