Since I was in middle school, I used a planner. To this day I purchase a planner every year and love going back through the old ones. These treasures allow me to see the things I did and the things I attempted to do. Most importantly, going through old planners showed me how I grew each year. I have looked back at planners from the years my children were born to remember what it was like around that time.

Planning allows us to take a thought and make it real just by writing it down. Planning is Power. To write something down and accomplish it builds confidence. Staying organized will not be a struggle if you utilize a day planner. Planning will increase your chance of success if you see and visualize your plan often. The Spiritual Law of Attraction teaches us this. Writing your plan down and reading it often will turn your dream into a reality.
A business plan is a statement of intention. To start a business plan write down your business goals with a deadline and responsible party. Place this document somewhere where you can view it often. Writing out your intentions and visualizing them will give them a higher probability of occurring.
I heard Jim Rohn say “Don’t start the day until it is finished,” meaning plan your day before it starts. When you wake up “Start with the End in Mind.” Know where you are going. It’s hard to know which direction to walk without a destination, and if you have something as precious as your life and the legacy of future generations in the balance, walking in the direction of a plan will prove to be wise. Plan your work then work your Plan.
